After my heavy reading about factory farming and the modern food production system I changed it up and read a detective novel that I got for my birthday. Killer Takes All by Erica Spindler was great. At nearly five hundred pages it seemed long, but those pages are super easy to read and fly by. I read the entire book in a day, and did it without staying up through the night to finish.
I’ve noticed that a lot of the thrillers and detective novels I’ve been reading have had female protagonists, and are often written by women, I’m guessing because women buy these books for me, (or buy them for themselves then I read them). Maybe I should read a Grisham novel soon.
